What is the minimum resolution required for a photo?
The minimum resolution for a photo depends on the size of the frame in which you want to place it. A very small photo can go in a very small frame. One of the causes of confusion regarding resolution is that the editor does not depend on the resolution at which we print the photos.
Most photos taken with a digital camera (even with a high quality configuration) have a resolution of only 72 DPI. Given that we resize and recompress photos to print them at the aforementioned resolutions, the resolution of the photo file is irrelevant.
For digital cameras, photos are measures in megapixels and even a 3 megapixels camera (the standard for new digital cameras is currently 7 megapixels) with a high quality configuration will produce a photo which can easily be imported into a full page of all the types of products we offer even in the normal mode of our software.
If the resolution of a photo is too low, an error message will be displayed.
